  10. Try repeating the WPS connecting process until the connection is successful.
  11. Once the connection is established, position the wireless range extender in a place where the network coverage and signal strength are required.

Once the setup is complete, log in to the TP-Link wireless range extender using the default credentials mentioned on the wifi extender itself. Be careful, while entering the credentials, make sure you enter the correct details. Follow the steps mentioned below to login to the extender;

  1. Firstly, you have to launch the web browser you use the most from your computer system. 
  2. In the address bar of the web browser enter the default IP address i.e. 192.168.1.1 and shoot the enter button to proceed with the login page of the TP-Link router.
  3. The LAN IP is modified depending on the model of the extender. Look for the IP address at the bottom of the wifi range extender’s product label.
  4. On the login page of the TP-Link wifi range, extender type your username and password.
  5. The default credentials for the username and password of the TP-Link wireless range extender are ‘admin’. Make sure you enter the credentials in lower case.
  6. To log in to the TP-Link range extender tap on the OK tab.
